January 16th, 2011:  A young man, 17 years old, presented to River Glen Dental with half of his front tooth broken off horizontally. He stated that he was playing basketball and a player on the opposing team reached up and made contact with his mouth, thus causing the injury. His tooth was subsequently restored by Dr. Sardana and he now never plays basketball without his sportsguard. At a subsequent game he stated that he could have broken another tooth had he not been wearing his sportsguard.
